Hillarie Nuzzo

Hillarie Holbrook began dancing in Maine at the age of two. While studying tap, jazz, acro, ballet and pointe at her home studio, she also was an assistant teacher before becoming a part of the staff. She continued to teach dance there throughout her college career until she moved to Vermont in 2013. She also danced competitively for twelve years. During her first teaching position at Craftsbury Schools, she taught an afterschool dance program before being asked to offer a dance class during school hours to grades first through fourth as well as high school students where students were exposed to different dance styles as well as the history and evolution of modern dance. She currently teaches 5th grade Science at the St. Johnsbury School but dance, especially tap, has always been her passion. She is really excited about this new adventure and looking forward to a wonderful year of dance with LVDA!
